  2006-12 Trip from US back to Mali via Bamako

  Our son, Mark and his wife Jessica, and our grandson, Elijah, all travelled with us to Mali. Mark is a student at Piedmont Baptist College in North Carolina and is completing a 6 week apprenticeship with us in Niafunke.

  As Mark completes his avaiation mechanic's training from Piedmont Baptist College, please join with them as they prayerfully consider the direction the Lord would have them to take in ministry.

  Mark & Jessica are expecting their second child in April, just a couple of months after returning to the U.S.

  2007-01 New Term in Africa, January 2007

  With our son Mark and his wife Jessica and our grandson Elijah, our new term in Mali began on January 10, 2007. We appreciate your prayers for our ministry and for Mark and Jessica as they follow the Lord's leading in their lives.

  Pictures of the church and congregation: This new church is a testimony of God's work in Bamako, the capital of Mali. For several years, the growing
  congregation, pastored by graduates of EBM's national Bible Institute, has been using a room on the end of EBM's guesthouse for services. When the group outgrew the facility, God provided. This new building will seat over 1,000 people, the largest evangelical church building in the country. It is common to have over 200 people already in services.
